A Chiropractic Adjustment is a movement to the spine to help restore a motion that has been lost or to realign a joint that has been shifted out of alignment. Adjustments release tension, restores range of motion, decreases inflammation and improves function. Common conditions treated with Chiropractic adjustments include low back pain, headaches, neck and shoulder tension with or without associated numbness and tingling into the arms and hands.

Ultrasound and Electrical Stimulation

Typical symptoms presented from pain will include inflammation, muscle spasms or tenderness. Modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound or electrical stimulation pay be applied to help with these symptoms. These modalities are important when treating injuries such as a sprain, pulled muscle or other conditions such as elbow, knee or shoulder tendonitis.

Spinal Decompression Therapy

Decompression therapy is a type of treatment to help decrease pressure build up within the spine. Changes in posture and degenerative changes, alter the pressure within the spinal canal and can cause conditions such as disc bulges or herniations, spinal stenosis, headaches and migraines. Spinal decompression therapy decreases this pressure on the spine thereby alleviating pain and tension.

Yoga therapy adapts the practice of Yoga to the needs of the individual with specific or persistent health problems. Yoga therapy is a self-empowering process, where the care-seeker, with the help of the Yoga therapist, implements a personalized and evolving Yoga practice, that not only addresses the illness in a multi-dimensional manner, but also aims to alleviate his/her suffering in a progressive, non-invasive and complementary manner. Depending upon the nature of the illness, Yoga therapy can not only be preventative or curative, but also serve a means to manage the illness, or facilitate healing in the person at all levels. It's a holistic healing art that focuses on the individual. Rather than prescribe treatments, it invites presence and awareness. using age-old yogic approaches so that we are able to know ourselves more fully. Out of that knowing, we are more easily moved to embrace the opportunity for change, growth, and enhanced well-being in body, feelings, thought, and spirit.

Foundational Yoga/Therapeutic Yoga Classes

Weekly themed classes that will have a therapeutic focus on the different aspects of the physical,emotional, and energetic body. Classes will offer a therapeutic approach to Yoga ,in a group setting, as we work through and strengthen mind and body. Weekly foundational classes will be offered as an all levels flow style for those interested in expanding their weekly practice in a more traditional group class setting.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is an effective way to help relax the musculature surrounding the spine when a dysfunction causes tight and tense muscles. All massage therapy appointments are customized by the chiropractic physician to focus on individual patients and their conditions.
