COVID-19 Update
During the current COVID-19 pandemic, Chiropractic Care is an essential service according to the State of Illinois. As emergency rooms and urgent care clinics are encouraging those to stay at home or move to virtual visits, many are turning to either staying in pain or reaching for addictive pain medications. Reaves Chiropractic is here to help for recurring pain or new injuries that have occurred due to working from home and not having the correct computer and work space.
We are working on a limited schedule due to Dr. Reaves’s son’s daycare being closed and her needing to stay home with him. As of 5/1, the hours of operation are Monday and Friday 10 am to 4pm, and Tuesday and Thursday 3pm to 7pm, and Saturdays by request. While the hours may be limited, your care is not. Dr. Reaves is still accepting new patients and working with current patients by giving them the exceptional care they need during this time.
Additionally, your safety is of the utmost importance. Reaves Chiropractic is the only business open in the Boyce Building so you will not be running into anyone on the elevator except for any building staff. While at your appointment, there may be only one other patient in the office at the time and require 6 feet distance between each patient. Each patient is required by the State of Illinois to wear a mask during your visit. Please keep the mask on while laying face up and if necessary for more comfort while laying face down, you may adjust your mask appropriately.
During your visit, you can expect Dr. Reaves to be wearing an N95 mask and gloves. The gloves are worn for only your visit and changed after. Your temperature will be checked and you will be asked a series of safety questions prior to starting. At the end of your appointment, the table and any space a patient occupied will be thoroughly cleaned with a medical grade disinfectant.
If you are not feeling well, please reach out and reschedule your appointment. You will not be charged for a late cancelation fee for this, as we want everyone to feel safe.
Lastly, if you are in need of care but hesitant to come in, there are appointment slots that are reserved for pregnant and high risk patients. Please reach out to Dr. Reaves directly to discuss this concern and inquire about this appointment time.
